Hartati, S.S., M. Hum - Make The Student Always ‘Smile’


“Happy life to Stay Healthy”
That's the piece of the sentence that was said by the Secretary of the Department of Japanese literature and mandarin as the motto of his life in cultural studies. The phrase that emerged from his thinking becoming the cornerstone of her life. “make others smile and laugh is the most boasted to me…” It says women who have humbly smile that became the Secretary of the Department of Japanese and Chinese at the University of General Soedirman, Purwokerto.

Hartati was born on October 12, 1981 in Salam, Brebes Central of Java. She Had dream to be teacher and be the successful person when she was still childhood. However, she had convinced to rich her dream. She started her study when she was seven years old. She took Elementary School and Junior High School in Salam, Brebes Central of Java. In 1996, she and her family move to Beji, Purwokerto after she graduated from Junior High School. Then she continued her study Senior High School in Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. After she graduated from senior high school, she took Japanese Diploma Program on one of private University in Yogyakarta. Then she continued her study in University of Padjajaran to take Degree of Literature Japan and graduated from her study in 2006. Because of her dream would be a teacher on university so she just took magister of Literature Japan and she continued her study in University of Diponegoro and she graduated in 2008.

Talking about her carrier, she started to be a private teacher to junior high or senior high school student. Otherwise, she also gave a lesson courses in Purwokerto. Then, she met Miss. Ely when she worked as a course teacher. For the information, that Miss. Ely is one of person who have the course. Then, Miss gave some of information that University of Jenderal Soedirman needed Japanese lecture. So, she took the opportunity and she applied to be lecture. Because of University of Jederal Soedirman really needed Japanese lecture, so she was accepted as a lecture. Although she was accepted as a lecture, she did not stop to teach on courses, because she needed money and salary as a lecture did not enough.


She proofed that hard work and convince can make someone to be success. Now, in addition to a lecture, she is also believed to be the Secretary of the Department of Japanese literature and mandarin. I class, she is known as a lecture who always make the student smiled and she is dubbed as lecturer who is always happy.
